Snuggled comfortably among Galveston’s historic downtown art galleries and quirky shops is an island-themed jewelry store like no other. Fullen Jewelry sparkles with originality and a unique Caribbean vibe. Authentic and one-of-a-kind treasures are within its doors just a short drive from the Club of the Isles.
About Fullen Jewelry
Fullen Jewelry came to Galveston in 1975 because the owners wanted a space true to the island’s sensibilities. The quaint shop succeeds in this and owners Dan and Teresa Fullen maintains a consistent dedication to the nautical and tropical flavors of the community.
Dan and Teresa are always on hand to welcome customers old and new with friendly and knowledgeable service. They offer expert watch and jewelry repair and are happy to gift wrap any purchase, too. The shop has changed little through the years. It still remains a respected icon in the Post Office Street neighborhood.
Fullen Jewelry continuously surprises with its compelling collections and custom designs. Shoppers delight in the captivating selection of contemporary, classic, and nautical jewelry for both women and men. It is an inviting artful place. When you walk in, you will think you just discovered a room full of buried treasure.
You can find fashion rings and wedding rings. They also share space with sea life bracelets and whimsical earrings. Purchase your jewelry set in gold or sterling silver. Alternative metals like tungsten and stainless steel are also available. Shoppers become mesmerized by the large variety of gemstones, pearls, and diamonds, as well as the ancient coins.
Fullen Jewelry is the home of several exclusive and unique jewelry collections. Each one celebrates the colors and rhythms of Galveston.
- Galveston Destination Bracelet: This collection has a beautiful simple design symbolizing affection for Galveston. It is a sterling silver hook bracelet with sixteen double strands of 14 karat gold because this represents the 32 miles of Galveston’s golden shoreline.
- Galveston Story Bead Collection: These are dedicated to the island and made of sterling silver with 14 karat gold accents. Look for the BOI (Born on the Island) and the IBC (Islander by Choice) beads. They are detailed and a great choice.
- The Republic of Galveston: This jewelry has an exotic representation of a tall ship or Spanish cross engraved on a silver coin. It is surrounded by an anchor or cutlass motif. Find it in sterling silver or sterling silver and gold.
You will want to check out the vibrant Hibiscus and Plumeria beads. Look for the blue glass beads which contain actual Galveston beach sand.
