Set in the center of New York City’s high-stakes litigation scene, Damages is a legal drama focusing on a ruthless attorney and her ambitious protege. One case is covered each season, modeled after something going on in the world. Damages is known for its effective use of plot twists and non-linear narrative. The show took home an Emmy Award for “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. It ran for five seasons and featured guest stars such as John Goodman, Martin Short, and Marcia Gay Harden.

The Bridge

A fast-paced show, The Bridge tells the story of two detectives jointly investigating a serial killer who is creating havoc along the Texas-Chihuahua border. Homicide investigator Marco Ruiz is sharp, charming, and well aware that Chihuahua is in a state of chaos. When he’s forced to work with his American counterpart, their case becomes riddled with corruption. The Bridge ran for two seasons and stars Demian Bichir and Diane Kruger.
